1. Who we are
FindWorker is an online platform operated by FIND WORKER (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED ("FindWorker", "we", "us"), a single member private limited company incorporated in Pakistan on 19 February 2026 under the Companies Act, 2017.
We connect customers who need home services with independent skilled workers who provide them. We operate two mobile applications — FindWorker for customers and FindWorker Pro for workers — and the website findworker.pk.
This policy applies to everyone who uses FindWorker: customers, workers, and team members working under a worker.
Privacy and data requests: legal@findworker.pk · Support: 0317-8059528 (also on WhatsApp)
2. What we collect
2.1 From customers
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and mobile number | to create your account, verify it by one-time code, and let your worker reach you |
| Service address, including map location | so the worker can find you and we can show workers who serve your area |
| Device location, only when you allow it | to suggest your address and show nearby workers. Refuse it and type your address instead — the app still works. |
| Orders, chosen items, prices, and in-app messages | to run the service and resolve disputes |
| Photographs you upload about a job | so a worker can understand the problem before quoting |
| Ratings and reviews you write | to help other customers choose |
| Device details and app diagnostics | to keep the app working and detect fraud |
| A record of the terms you accepted | to know which version of our terms applies to you |
2.2 From workers and team members
In addition to the above:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| CNIC number and photographs of your CNIC | to verify you are a real, identifiable person before you enter a customer's home. This is the most important safety measure on the platform. |
| A selfie | to confirm the CNIC belongs to you, and to show the customer who is coming |
| Trades, prices, and service areas | to match you with suitable jobs |
| Location while you are online and on a job | to match you with nearby work and let the customer track your arrival |
| Bank account or mobile wallet details | to pay out money you are owed |
| Wallet balance, platform fees, points, payout history | to run your account and meet our tax obligations |
| Job history, ratings, cancellations, level | to operate the platform fairly and show customers your record |
If you are a team member, you are engaged by the worker who invited you, not by FindWorker. We hold your identity information so we can verify you and so customers know who is entering their home.
2.3 What we record when you accept our terms
When you tap to accept our Terms of Service, Worker Partner Agreement, or this Privacy Policy, we record:
- which document and which version you accepted
- the date and time
- which app, its version, and the platform (iOS, Android, or web)
- a device identifier, and your IP address where available
We do this so that both of us know exactly which terms apply, and so we can show you what changed when we update them. It protects you as much as us.
2.4 What we do not collect
- We never take card or bank payments from customers. Customers pay their worker in cash. We do not see or store any customer card or bank details.
- We do not collect information about your religion, political opinions, or health.
- We do not read your contacts, photo library, or messages beyond what you actively share in the app.
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and verify it by one-time code.
- To match customers with suitable workers and give each side what they need to decide.
- To let you track a worker's arrival and communicate during a job.
- To calculate the platform fee a worker owes, apply their points, and keep proper financial records.
- To verify worker identity and keep customers safe.
- To investigate complaints, disputes, damage claims, and suspected fraud.
- To send notifications about your orders — these are essential to the service.
- To record and prove which version of our terms you agreed to.
- To fix faults, improve the app, and understand which services are needed where.
- To comply with Pakistani law, including tax law.
We never sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising in our apps.
4. Identity verification
Worker and team-member identity checks are performed manually by our own staff, normally within 24 working hours. We do not send your CNIC or selfie to any third-party verification company.
Only a small number of authorised staff can view these images, and only to approve, reject, or request a resubmission. If we ever engage an outside verification provider, we will update this policy and tell you before it takes effect.
5. What other people can see
A customer sees about a worker: name, photograph, shop name, rating and reviews, level, jobs completed, cancellation rate, years of experience, trades, prices, approximate distance, and any work photographs the worker is permitted to show.
A worker sees about a customer: first name, rating, number of orders, the service address (only after an order is placed with them), the order details, and how many previous jobs they have done for that customer.
A customer never sees a worker's CNIC, home address, or wallet. A worker never sees a customer's CNIC, payment details, or any other customer's information.
Photographs of your home are never published without your explicit permission. After a job we ask you separately whether the worker may show before-and-after photographs to other customers. If you decline, they are never shown. Your name and address are never attached to them.
6. Who we share with
Only in these situations:
- Between the two sides of a booking, as set out in section 5, so the job can happen.
- Service providers who help us operate, under contract and only for that purpose:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Google Firebase — push notifications
- Meta WhatsApp Business Platform — one-time codes and support messages
- Twilio — SMS one-time codes, as a fallback
- PayFast — processing worker wallet top-ups
- Our accountant and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to prevent serious harm, fraud, or a crime.
- A buyer of the business, if the company is ever sold, on these same terms.
We share your information with no one else.
7. Where it is stored
Your information is held on servers operated by Supabase. By using FindWorker you agree it may be stored and processed outside Pakistan on our behalf, protected by contract and by the security measures in section 12.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | while your account is open |
| After you delete your account | 30 days, so you can change your mind — then removed or anonymised |
| Orders, invoices, fees, wallet records | 6 years, as Pakistani tax law requires |
| Records of the terms you accepted | 6 years — this is a record of a contract and we keep it as long as we keep the financial records it relates to |
| CNIC images and selfies | while your account is open, plus 30 days |
| Reviews you wrote | kept, but shown without your name once your account is deleted |
| Support messages | 2 years |
| Complaints | 2 years |
The records we keep beyond deletion are separated from your identity — they carry only what is needed to prove a transaction or an agreement occurred.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account inside the app — Account → Delete Account. You do not need to email us or ask permission.
There is a 30-day grace period in which you can restore it. After that your personal information is removed or anonymised, except the records we must keep by law (section 8).
You cannot delete while an order is in progress or a balance is unpaid. Finish or cancel the order and settle up first.
10. Your rights
You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete your account, stop any non-essential use of your information, or explain a decision such as a suspension.
Write to legal@findworker.pk from the number or email registered on your account. We reply within 14 days.
11. Notifications
We send notifications about your orders — a new job, an offer, a worker arriving, work needing approval. These are part of the service and cannot be turned off while an order is live, though your phone settings control how they appear.
One-time codes go by WhatsApp, with SMS as a fallback. We may occasionally tell you about a new service in your area; you can opt out of those without affecting your orders.
12. How we protect it
- All traffic between app and server is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
- Database access is restricted by row-level security, so one user cannot read another's records.
- Only a few authorised staff can view CNIC images, and only to complete verification.
- Administrative actions are permission-controlled and recorded.
- Records of your acceptance of our terms cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us.
- Invalid device tokens are removed and one-time codes expire quickly.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
13. Children
FindWorker is not for anyone under 18. You must be 18 or older to hold an account as a customer, worker, or team member.
A service may be provided to a household that includes children — a child's haircut, for example — but the account holder must be an adult and an adult must be present throughout the visit.
We do not knowingly collect information about children. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
14. Changes
For any important change we will tell you in the app or by message at least 14 days before it takes effect, and we will show you a summary of what changed. Continuing to use FindWorker afterwards means you accept the updated policy. Where the change is significant we will ask you to accept it explicitly, and record that acceptance.
15. Complaints
Write to legal@findworker.pk. We reply within 14 days.
If you remain unsatisfied you may complain to the relevant authority in Pakistan or bring the matter before a court in Islamabad. Nothing here removes any right you have under Pakistani consumer protection law.
