1. Read this first — how money moves on FindWorker
Customers do not pay FindWorker anything. Ever.
You pay your worker directly, in cash, at your home, after the work is finished and you have approved it in the app. FindWorker charges you no booking fee, no convenience fee, and no service charge, and never takes card or bank payments from customers.
Because of this, there is normally nothing for FindWorker to refund to a customer — we never held your money in the first place. What this policy does is set out clearly what happens when a job is cancelled, when work is unsatisfactory, and how money is returned to workers, who do prepay a platform fee.
2. Customer cancellations
| When you cancel | What you pay |
|---|---|
| While waiting for offers, or before the worker sets off | Nothing. Free, always. |
| After the worker is on the way to you | Rs 350 flat travel charge, paid to the worker for fuel and time |
| After work has started | You cannot cancel in the app. Contact support and we will help. |
The app shows you the Rs 350 charge before you confirm the cancellation. You will never be charged without being warned first.
There is no penalty for cancelling before a worker has set off, however many times you do it — although repeatedly cancelling on workers who have already travelled may lead us to review your account.
3. If the worker cancels
You pay nothing. We will help you find another worker, and the order is not counted against you in any way.
If a worker fails to arrive without cancelling, report it in the app. That counts against the worker's reliability record and may lead to suspension.
4. If you are unhappy with the work
Do not approve the job. Approving confirms the work was done and the amount is correct.
Instead, tap "Something's wrong" on the final bill and tell us what happened, with photographs where possible. We will:
- Put your complaint to the worker and require a response.
- Mediate in good faith between you and the worker.
- Act against the worker's account — including suspension or permanent removal — where they are at fault.
Time limit: raise it within 14 days of the job.
What we cannot do: FindWorker does not pay for a worker's poor work, unfinished work, or damage. Your contract for the work is with the worker, who is an independent business. We verify identity, mediate, and enforce standards — we are not the service provider. See section 9 of the Terms of Service.
If mediation does not resolve the matter, we will give you the worker's verified identity details so you can pursue a claim directly.
5. Damage to your property
Report it within 7 days with photographs. The process is the same as section 4, and the worker is responsible for putting it right. FindWorker does not pay for damage caused by a worker.
6. Refunds to workers — the only money we actually return
Workers prepay a platform fee from their own wallet on each job. That fee can be returned in these situations:
| Situation | What is returned |
|---|---|
| Customer cancels before work starts | The worker may request the fee back within 24 hours. We assess each request against the actual activity on the order. |
| Customer cancels within the free window right after acceptance | The fee is returned automatically. |
| Order is re-matched to another worker | The fee is returned automatically. |
| Customer never appears, or refuses entry | The worker reports it and the fee is assessed for return. |
Where the fee was paid with free credit, the credit is restored rather than cash being paid.
Fee credit is not refundable and cannot be withdrawn as cash under any circumstances. It only ever reduces platform fees. See the Worker Partner Agreement.
7. Worker wallet withdrawals
A worker's own money in their wallet — top-ups, returned fees, cash referral rewards — belongs to them and can be withdrawn.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | Rs 500 |
| Paid to | the bank account or mobile wallet the worker nominates, in a name matching their CNIC |
| Timing | normally within 3 working days of the request |
| Held back | only while we investigate a dispute or suspected fraud, and we will say why |
This is the only refund path on FindWorker for money genuinely received. A worker who tops up and then leaves the platform may withdraw their remaining balance, subject to the minimum and anything owed to us.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Since customers never pay FindWorker, customer chargebacks do not arise.
If a worker disputes a wallet top-up, contact us at legal@findworker.pk with the transaction reference. We will trace it with our payment provider and correct any error. Do not raise a bank dispute before contacting us — it is slower for you than letting us fix it directly.
9. How to reach us

10. If we cannot resolve it

This does not remove your right as a consumer to bring a claim in the consumer court for the area where you live. There is no arbitration clause in our terms.
